Farm and RDP+ Firewall

Firewall Lists are kept synchronized among the Servers in the Farm.

Automatic synchronize of Firewall Lists in the Farm

• Failed Logons are automatically distributed among the Farm. For example, if IPA 1.2.3.4 has done a Failed Logon on Server 1 in the Farm, this Event will also be shown on the other Servers in the Farm. Because the failed logon is distributed among the Farm, if IPA 1.2.3.4 attempts more logons on other Servers in the Farm, the limit of 5 failed logons will be applied and the IPA 1.2.3.4 will be placed on the Temporary blocked List.
• When a Server has placed an IP Address on the Temporary blocked List, the whole Temporary blocked List will be broadcasted among the Farm. For example, if Server 1 in the Farm has perceived invalid logins from IP Address 1.2.3.4, and has placed this IPA on the Temporary blocked List, the Temporary blocked List will be distributed among the Farm. Every Server in the Farm will temporary block the IP Address 1.2.3.4.

The Administrator can edit the FW Lists; he can add or delete entries. This applies to the following FW Lists:

• Failed Logons
• Temporary blocked
• Manual Allow List
• Manual Deny List

After the Administrator has edited a FW List, and has clicked on "Save", changes are automatically distributed among the Farm.
